Bible Study Guide.

Ok, you need a few tools to help you with your Bible study.  We all can use good tools that will help us better understand the  word of God.  How many times have you read the English version and then heard the Greek.  Weren’t you surprised at  how much more you comprehended after hearing the Greek?  Sometimes it takes several English word to explain the Greek.  God in His infinite wisdom had the inspired writers give us rich content that reaches our inner man.  But, we have a responsibility to spend some time getting into God’s word.

Many churches of Christ have vast resources on their websites.  Such as:  articles, video sermons, podcast and more. Use of a Bible study guide in your personal studies will make a big difference.

I’m going to recommend some sources from the church of Christ websites.  Like all information you have to go through it and make sure it aligns with the word of God.  If it is false doctrine do not listen to it or obey it.  

1 John 4:1-5

 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

You and I have to be like those noble Bereans who searched the scriptures daily to see if those things were so.  I brother that passed away many years ago had a sermon entitled, “The blessed Berean Brethern”.
